The Bridge is one of three components of the HART Hub Hastings Prince Edward (HPE) and its relocation to 1 Alhambra Square is a core piece of our plan to help members of our community facing homelessness, addiction and mental health challenges to heal and build a more stable life.
The opening date for The Bridge at 1 Alhambra Square will be April 9. Construction workers are in the final stages of making the space safe, doing the work right, and ensuring it’s a welcoming environment that supports guests in moving toward a healthier and more hopeful future
We remain committed to being good neighbours and supporting a safe, welcoming environment for the entire community. The finishing work and opening timeline for 1 Alhambra Square helps The Bridge to be the most respectful neighbour we can be.
To support the transition, programming will follow this schedule:
- Now – April 8: Services will continue operating at 125 Church Street South, Belleville
- April 9: Services will begin operating at 1 Alhambra Square, Belleville
All basic needs services – including access to a warm space, washrooms, laundry, and meals – will continue to be available throughout the transition. HART Hub HPE outreach teams will also continue operating as usual during this period.
